New Chapter: Bethe Joins the THMM Family

THMM is pleased to welcome Cape Town singer-songwriter Bethe to the Slowdown Sundays roster as our Emerging Artist for 4 October 2026.
Bethe represents exactly what the emerging-artist element of Slowdown Sundays was created to celebrate: artists developing their own voice, building their craft and giving audiences the opportunity to discover something new.
Describing her sound as “Emo African”, Bethe creates emotionally honest music influenced by alternative sounds, African music and R&B.
Her growing catalogue includes Enemy, Paper Love, Wayer and her 2026 collaboration Take Me There featuring Ke_Tman.
Her music is personal, vulnerable and unafraid to sit with difficult emotions — but behind that creativity is also an artist showing real commitment to learning, developing and building a sustainable career.
Bethe will step onto the Slowdown Sundays stage alongside headliner Amy Jones, introducing our audience to another exciting voice coming out of Cape Town.
